Several things.

First, is this link to the blog di.onys.us about Scott Drave's electric sheep screen saver. Basically, the screen saver uses user's computers to render fractal animations. The result is quite pretty. Hypnotic. Psychedelic. Strangely organic. Compelling. Check it out. Via Boing Boing, as with most cool things.

Second, is this link completely rethinking everything about Star Wars. Doesn't really make it suck less, but it's fun to think about.
