A few links today.

First of all, ever seen an octopus eat a shark? Want to? Go here. Warning, Real Media.

Second, here's a picture of a bunch of bouncy balls that some people let loose on a hill in San Fransisco. Cool. I want to do that, only with pianos.

Finally, although I'm sure it comes as no surprise to Ken, with his almost encyclopedic knowledge of Marvel comics, but I was not aware that Marvel made a thinly disguised version of DC Comics' Justice League of America, called the Squadron Supreme. Very interesting, if you're into geeky type stuff. Like comic books.

Best name of one of the characters...The Whizzer. Priceless. Ranks right up there with the Giant-Size Man-Thing comics from the 70's.

"I want to do that, only with pianos."

And that, my friend, is why I like you so much.

Aw shucks.

Seriously, though, if we ever get a larger house with an appreciably big shed/outbuilding/workshop, I intend to start collecting old busted pianos. Then one day do a grand musical experiment involving fires set in said pianos in a large, dark warehouse space. Followed by a crescendo of falling pianos, suspended from wires. 'Destructive Synthesis' I'd call it.

Yeah, and I'm predicting right here and now that Beth would kick your tuckus from here to San Fran if you did that. Mark the date and time, ladies and gentlemen.

Whoa, seriously, just watched the video of the octopus. That's some fresh sushi, by golly. Also, I recommit myself never to swim in any body of water that hasn't been chlorinated to the point of saturation.

Beth wouldn't kick my butt. If we had the room.

But it would be worth it to hear the strings of the old pianos popping, going off like firearms, the slow crackle of a building fire in the background. Poing! Ping! BeeeOwng! Krackle krackle.... Poing!

Woohoo for the octopus...being a total shark phobic maniac, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the predator become the prey.
