This is me enjoying a very good iced mocha at the Broadway Cafe in Kansas City. My wife and I went to KC for our anniversary back in late June.

Nice pics...you know what struck me as weird... no, no, no, I wasn't the odd-looking primate in florida...but the fact that you were drinking an iced coffee from a regular glass...a glass glass at that...ick..I'm I Starbuck-ized or what?

Well, dirty little secret here, but I'm a manager at a place that sells Starbucks coffee. But I love to check out the competition, so to speak.

Another funny thing is that the Broadway Cafe, in KC, is right by a Starbucks. Literally right next door. They put in the Starbucks several years ago, but the Broadway Cafe is still going strong. Which is totally cool.

I love glass glasses for iced mochas and lattes and such.

Of this picture? Why wouldn't she approve of this picture? Do I have boogers hanging out of my nose or something?

Or did you mean the picture that I posted of her? Because as far as I'm concerned, if I have a camera, and I take a picture, the picture is mine. That's just the chance people take being in my line of site when I have a camera. :) But that's all academic, since I hardly ever use our digital camera.

Bill Hicks? I, sir, will take that as a compliment.

Does your mom still live in the area? You ever get to Fayetteville?

Oh, it is a compliment.

My mom lives in Florida/Alabama now. I rarely get to Fayetteville, mainly because the city gives me the heebee jeebees. I can't really explain why. But I believe the next time I visit my grandparents (out in Hindsville), I'll make a point to stop in F-town.
