So, the wife and I went to Eureka Springs for the Chocolate Festival, which was hella cool. Then we had a great lunch at Sparky's (best blue cheese cheeseburger EVER! plus, you have to love a place where you can get cheese a la carte).
Then, we went walking around, went to some flea markets and some stores.
The coolest thing is that we went to this shop, Milagros, and I found a very very very cool didgeridoo. It was made in Java, so it's not an Australian bloodwood, but it's real wood, and has a very cool aboriginal design of the Rainbow Serpent, aka Unjuat. And it sounds amazing. I haven't really spent any of my Christmas money, and it was only $69, so I got it. And, as I was playing it in the store, the store owners asked me "You're really good at that. If you come back on a Saturday this summer and play in front of our store, we'll buy you dinner." So, yeah, I think I could do that.
Hopefully I'll have a picture of it up soon.
